This afternoon... well its after midnight so yesterday afternoon I had coffee with one of my favorite people. This women has really invested in my life and I feel truly honored to have her there. We met at 11:00 so I anticipated having much time in between exchanging coffee and conversation and getting to a 1:00 dose of Personal Development (yes that's a class). Turns out time does fly when you are having coffee. I was significantly late for class but I do believe that those two hours at Bixbes taught me more about myself than a Dr. of Psychology could teach me in a whole semester. I really feel as if I did most of the talking but my favorite part was the listening. One thing I have come to notice however is that a good coffee date can create an amazing start to your day. The downside is having to leave the comfort and bubble of the coffee shop and going back to the grind. I guess my goal for this new blog endeavor is to create that environment for myself (hence the name). I'm sure they will vary in quality and content. Comparable to anything from canned Folgers to some of natures finest roast!
